Gone Home
Early on Sunday morning June 26, Glenda's father, Thomas Leland Cantrell who was fondly known as Buddy Man, quietly said good-bye and went to be with Jesus. Born in 1918, he lived through seventeen US presidents, experienced the Great Depression, major shifts in culture and observed numerous inventions, and several wars. He even helped put together the Mercury spacecraft. He is remembered for his quiet ways, his kind spirit, his sweet smile, and his deep commitment to Jesus Christ. Though we miss him, he is exactly where and with whom he always wanted to be. Heaven is now his home.
